How cool is a Japanese Mick Ronson tribute band? I always thought 'Slaughter' was one of the great underrated albums of it's day.
Totally cool - in that only the Japanese can pull it off kinda way ... Yep Slaughter is damn fine - but for the sheer over-the-top spinal-tapness of the cover aloe - yah just got to give 'Play Don't Worry' another spin - lovely stuff !!

im off to form a tir na nog tribute band...
Billy Porter - fine song. I remember, when a nipper, being on a Butlins holiday, in the TV room (because that's what you do when you go on holiday, watch telly) watching TOTP when they announced what we thought was Mick Ronson ... the Bowie-fanatic brother and I piled rudely down to the front to be confronted by Mick Robertson, Magpie presenter and wannabe popstar. What was that song called ...'when the parties over'? Disappointed? You bet.
